I tend to research things on line to get a good overview of places. I like going to TripAdvisor.com Here is a link to Pine Mountain Georgia:

We have been to Pine Mountain several times. I once participated in a triathlon there, but that was a few years ago. I think for our purposes, we will be spending most of our time in the lodge. There is so much beading to do. You will find that all of the people attending are very nice and interesting and besides beading, you will be making life long friendships. The grounds around the lodge are just so peaceful and beautiful.
Around the time of the event it should be plenty hot in Georgia. I hope not too hot to enjoy the pool. We had a wonderful time at the pool just hanging out with some drinks, taking in the sun and enjoying the surroundings. I know it starts to get a bit cooler in the evening. So when you get out of your class, the pool should be just perfect before going out to dinner. I could see having a dip in the pool and grabbing something at the restaurant in the lodge around eight or so. It just depends on what you like. Please make sure to bring sun screen, a swim suit and a hat.
If you would prefer the spa, and they have a fantastic spa in the lodge, then make sure to book a spot right after class. I know you will need it! It is the perfect way to relax before dinner.
If you get out of class a bit early, try walking over to the butterfly museum. It is open from 9AM to 6PM. It is hot and humid in there but just spectacular. You wont need a full hour. Plenty of time to get you in the mood for Huib's class.
For those who just don't like the sun or heat, most rooms look over the courtyard and pool and most have a balcony. The rooms are so nice it is a peaceful place to relax before dinner.
There were be plenty of people milling about at the retail room and in the room we have set aside for relaxing. You could either go to the bar, or have drinks in the room while talking or beading and working on your projects. I know most of the instructors wont pass on the opportunity for a drink, so hanging out with them and a drink is perfect too.
